Soap Carvings, Thailand

Soap carvings first came from north Thailand, Chiang Mai. They were first more of a artistic hobby one can do when not busy, but later grew to a art form that only a skilled artist can master. Those skills are handed down from generation to generation and all the details, petals, leaves are done only using few carving knives.
